So I Failed Nano

Hi again,
It's been a long time again since I posted. Haven't done a ton of writing but I did start a new novel or novelette or series of novelettes at the beginning of the month. November is National Novel Writing Month. The goal is to start a novel and write 50,000 words during the month. November isn't over yet but I know I'm not going to make it. 

Several things have contributed to this. First, and I'm not blaming HaShem, The Name, I was all set to write Chloe's Sanctuary when He switched gears on me. All of a sudden I'm writing a contemporary story. This idea came about three days before November started. Needless to say I was not very well prepared. I've gotten about 18,000 words written but am stalled out. I'm not sure how to get where I want to go and whether the plots should be in one book or at least two. 

Another thing is the new exercise class I'm taking at the YMCA. It's a great class. It's for those of us at a certain age. No high impact. More trying to get the old bones and joints working better. The only trouble is that it is at 11:00 AM three days a week. It really breaks up my day. I'm not really great at getting a lot done before class then the two hours total to drive there, take the class and come home really cramp my schedule. I also go to aqua aerobics the other two days. Plus new Bible Studies I'm in. Then I try to have my darling granddaughter an afternoon a week. 

All said and done, I'm not getting as much writing done as I had planned. The good news is I've lost about 35 pounds since May. Hurray!!!

On the positive writing aspect, I'm working on some short devotionals which will become a series as I work through books in the Bible. I've got Philippians in rough draft form and I'm working on James. The series will be called Simple Thoughts on _______. Whichever book goes on the line. They will be coming out on Kindle exclusively in 2016 and be on Kindle Unlimited also.
