November is National Novel Writing Month or NANOWRIMO or to those of us who do and love it NANO. The goal is to start a new novel on November 1 and write 50,000 words during the thirty days of the month. It sounds like a daunting task and it is, sort of. The average words per day that you need is 1,667. I can write that in about an hour and a half of good uninterrupted writing.
I have so many WIPs and so I’ve been working on all of them. Some a little and some a lot. I finished Rescued By Love, a sweet inspirational novelette coming out on Dec. 1 for .99 or on KU. Chloe’s Sanctuary (Stone’s Creek Book 3) has gotten a lot of work done on it. I’ve got another contemporary novel, possible series, completed. I need to figure out a title for it. :( Those are so hard.
I’ve succumbed to the pressure in my head an started two new books. At least I think it’s two. One is Janie’s story in the Cottonwood series. It’s title is Surviving Love. It may only be a novelette or novella. We’ll have to see how it goes. The other is a Science Fiction either series or three stories interwoven into one book. It’s not a Christian book but will be clean and wholesome. Well, the upshot is that I’m really writing again and have WON NANO. I crossed the 50,000 word mark today. I’m going to keep going for the next nine days and see if I can make 60,000. With my regular schedule and Thanksgiving it might be a daunting task but I’m flexing my fingers and typing away.
