Okay, I know I live in the sticks and don't get to a town bigger than 4000 people very much so many of you may have already encountered this but to me it was way cool. After I figured out how to use it anyway.
I ate lunch yesterday at a Noodles & Company. When I went to fill my pop glass, all right soda glass, there's this machine I'd never seen before.
This may be old hat to those of you heralding from highly urban areas. For this old lady from the back of beyond it was so way cool. I'm a tech lover of anything cutting edge and unique. One very small reason I have Macs.
Speaking of Mac Pros? Have you seen the newest Mac Pro? It's the picture just to the left. When they were announced in June I looked them up on apple's website. So way cool. It's only about 10" tall and 6.5" in diameter. They sort of took a laptop and jammed all the inerds into a cylinder. It almost makes me want a desktop computer again. Naw, I'm writing this lying in my bed, so not doable with a desktop and monitor.
I get my love of gadgets from my father. He was a creator of Jerry-rigged items. We had a car topper before they were invented and sold. The first entertainment system, maybe in the world, was in the wall of our family room. The TV had been taken out of it's cabinet and installed within the wall. Speakers were in the wall also. I guess it wasn't really a wall. More a walk in cabinet with concealed doors. Good to store the toys of three kids in as well as the TV and stereo.
